Quantum Machines launches Qualibrate open source framework to speed quantum computer calibration

Summary
IsraeliQuantum computing firm Quantum Machines (QM) has cut the time to calibrate a quantum computer from hours to under ten minutes, releasing its Qualibrate system that works across platforms.
The open-source framework addresses one of the sector’s most scaling issues, with QM’s CTO, Yonatan Cohen, stating that calibration time and calibration quality often conflicted with each other.
The launch follows the company’s $170m raise in November, which will be used to help increase the adoption of quantum computing, with the firm developing an ecosystem where researchers – both in academia and industry – can instantly leverage each other’s advances.
The news comes after the Dutch quantum computing firm Qu & Co last week launched its platform for simulating molecules to enable more discoveries and breakthroughs in chemistry and materials science.
