Summary
Nvidia is working to develop AI supercomputers and build factories in the US to accelerate AI and robotics.
At the Computex trade show in Taiwan, the company unveiled multiple products and frameworks to assist developers in training robots, generating data and for simulation, including:
Isaac GR00T N1.5, a foundation model for reasoning and skills
Isaac GR00T-Dreams, a blueprint for generating motion data
Isaac Blackwell systems to accelerate robot development
Nvidia is working with several systems manufacturers to create workstations and servers that provide a single architecture for every robot development workload type.
Early adopters of the GR00T models include Aeorbot, Foxlink and Lightwheel, whilst robotics companies including Agility Robotics, Boston Dynamics and XPENG Robotics are using Nvidia’s simulation technologies to train their robots. bots to accelerate their robot development.
This move by Nvidia is another indication of how future industries will embrace AI and physical AI to revolutionise the next industrial revolution.
