Taiwan’s Foxconn and Nvidia are partnering to build a 10,000-GPU AI supercomputer in the country to offer AI cloud services to firms, with the aim of creating an AI-focused industrial ecosystem in southern Taiwan.
The Big Innovation Cloud AI factory, which will feature Nvidia’s Blackwell Ultra systems, will offer businesses access to advanced GPU resources through the Nvidia DGX Cloud Lepton marketplace.
It also aims to optimise transportation and civil resources, enable advanced driver-assistance systems for EVs, and streamline manufacturing operations.
Foxconn CEO Young Liu said the factory would “lay the groundwork to connect people in Taiwan as well as government organizations and enterprises such as TSMC to accelerate innovation and empower industries.
