Summary
AI-powered platform Keychain, designed to help retailers purchase consumer packaged goods (CPG), has secured $30m in series B funding and launched an AI operating system (OS), KeychainOS, for the CPG manufacturing industry.
The start-up is encroaching on the established market of legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools such as Oracle, QAD and Plex.
Its OS is billed as being faster and more CPG-specific than existing ERP giants, capable of being implemented in days rather than months.
Its AI-driven software can adapt to the needs of users, learning from data inputs to streamline supply chain operations via efficient automation of repetitive tasks.
The company originally launched in 2023, starting with a search-and-discovery tool for CPGs before expanding into its current ERP focus.
It is already being used by seven of the top 10 US CPG brands, including General Mills and Wholefoods.
