The report states that AI is the “new insider threat”, with hackers able to use AI to create profiles, to write code and to carry out work that they have been employed to do, making this kind of attack difficult to detect.
The report also warns that AI is also being used by attackers at every stage of insider threat operations, from creating these identities to managing multiple simultaneous employment positions.
