Summary
French robotics company Wandercraft has raised $75m in a Series D funding round to accelerate the development and rollout of its AI-powered robotics.
The funding, led by Quadrant Management, will be used to bring the self-balancing personal exoskeleton, Eve, to market by 2026.
It will also support the expansion of its flagship rehabilitation system, Atalante X, and the development of Calvin-40, a humanoid robot.
Renault has taken a minority stake in Wandercraft and will work with the company to scale up production of its exoskeletons and industrial robots for use in its factories.
Calvin-40 is an industrial-grade robot intended for physically demanding tasks and is set for production deployment within 40 weeks at Renault factories.
Founded in 2012, Wandercraft is a global leader in self-balancing, AI-powered robotics and has more than 30 patents.
