The problem noted by Databricks is that manual systems are often too slow, inconsistent and difficult to scale to be relied upon.
The platform builds on and extends the Mosaic AI Agent Framework and automates agent optimisation via a series of research-backed innovations.
Chief technology officer of neural networks at Databricks, Hanlin Tang, said that Agent Bricks could “help get the data into the platform, and then you can do ML, BI and AI analytics”.
The launch coincides with the announcement of the general availability of Lakeflow, a data engineering platform.
