Kinneta shows off VR fitness workouts that take the boredom out of exercise

Extended reality (XR) company Kinneta has showcased its XR treadmill and bike apps at the Augmented World Expo (AWE) show in California, which aim to provide users with more engaging workouts.
The apps allow users to exercise with top trainers in virtual reality or augmented reality environments, including in their own homes or gyms as holograms.
At the AWE event, Kinneta is also showcasing its “gamified” workouts, in which users’ exercise movements impact their scores within the app.
The company is also releasing VR tech for Meta Quest headsets that enables users to run through photorealistic 3D environments with automatic treadmill speed and incline adjustments.
Kinneta’s apps are now available via subscription for 9.99permonthor99.99 per year.
The company has eight employees and has raised 1.5mtodate,includingarecent250k investment from fitness brand Woodway.
