Quarter Up is Skybound’s new internal studio working on Invincible VS

Skybound has launched its first in-house game development studio, Quarter Up, which is focused on creating fighting games.
Based in LA, the team has around 40 members with experience at Activision Blizzard, Riot Games, Naughty Dog, Netflix and Double Helix, among others.
Quarter Up is developing Invincible VS, a 3v3 fighting game based on the Invincible comic book franchise.
The game is set to launch in 2026 and will feature several characters from the franchise, including Mark Grayson, Atom Eve and Omni-Man.
Skybound Games EVP and general manager Chris Paulson said the company is focused on capturing the “brutality and destruction” of the franchise in the game.
Mike Willette, executive producer on Invincible VS, added that Quarter Up was formed after the team behind the Amazon Games title Killer Instinct wanted to start their own studio.
