Community building start-up ELO has launched with the aim of putting the gamer at the heart of the video game development process.
ELO will work with game developers and publishers to build community strategies with a focus on innovation, culture and enhancing the gamer experience.
“Our goal is to represent the voice of the community while supporting developers by leading their go-to-market community strategy and execution so the developers can continue to focus on building great games,” says co-founder Roald van Buuren.
The company is launching a PowerToTheGamer campaign to promote its community-focused mission.
ELO has been in stealth mode for nearly eight months, working with industry leaders to identify the key issues and priorities facing publishers and studios.
The business is headquartered in London and Doha, and collaborators include developers, producers, brands and financial investors.
