Summary
Split Fiction, from Hazelight and Electronic Arts, is a $50, 15-hour co-op action adventure, releasing on consoles and PC on 6th March 2025.
Players control two writers - one specialising in sci-fi, the other fantasy - who are trapped inside a machine that is extracting the stories from their heads.
To escape, they must work together, learning to rely on each other’s unique abilities to progress through increasingly challenging and varied environments.
The game builds on Hazelight’s previous titles, including A Way Out and It Takes Two, which won Game of the Year in 2021.
The developer’s experience tells a compelling, humorous, and original story with gameplay that encourages cooperation between players.
As with previous titles, Split Fiction does not feature any multiplayer functionality.
