Nvidia beats estimates for Q1 results as revenues rise 69% from a year ago

1bn, up 12% from the previous quarter and 69% year-on-year.
The AI and graphics chipmaker revealed that its gaming revenue hit a
record $3.8bn, up 48% from the previous quarter and 42% YoY.
It also announced a number of new products, including the GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5060, bringing Blackwell AI to gamers at affordable prices, and the Nvidia RTX Remix modding platform.
In addition, the firm announced a collaboration with General Motors on next-generation vehicles, factories and robots using its Omniverse platform.
However, there was a cautionary note, as the US government told Nvidia that its H20 products require an export license for sales in China, resulting in a $4.5bn charge in Q1 FY2026 due to diminished demand.
