Nintendo Switch 2 preorders are open at GameStop (update: sold out)

Following its messy preorder launch, US games retailer GameStop has sold out of its initial stock of the Nintendo Switch 2 console.
However, it is now offering customers another opportunity to reserve the device.
Nintendo Switch 2 became available for preorder from most major US retailers on April 24, with units selling out quickly.
The console is priced at $449 f or a s t an d a l o n e u ni t an d$ 499 for a bundle including the new Mario Kart game, which will be available for a limited time only.
The Switch 2 officially goes on sale on June 5.
GameStop is allowing in-store reservations for the console to be made when branches open today, as well as facilitating online preorders.
The next-generation Switch is an upgraded version of the bestselling hybrid console, with improved hardware components.
