Summary
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is set to be remastered for current generation consoles and PC, with the Deluxe edition including bonus missions, unique armour and weapons as well as a digital art book and soundtrack.
Rumours of the Bethesda release initially came to light in 2023 during the FTC’s case against Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, where Microsoft’s unannounced future releases were leaked.
The game is available to preorder now on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, and will be available on Game Pass at release, with the standard edition costing $49.99.
Developed by Virtuous, the remake has been created in Unreal Engine 5, with must-have modernisations including improvements to lip sync, game mechanics and overall graphics.
