Comcast announces a five-year price lock for Xfinity internet plans

The packages will include a modem/router, and a year’s free subscription to Xfinity Mobile, with additional lines available for $20 per month.
In an email to The Verge, a Comcast spokesperson outlined the company’s new cable tiers, which range from 55permonthfor400/150Mbpsspeedsto105 per month for 2.1Gbps/300Mbps speeds.
The spokesperson also confirmed that these prices apply to Comcast’s fibre plans, and that the 400, 600 and 1.1Gbps speeds are symmetric.
