Google is rolling out Gemini’s real-time AI video features

Summary
Google has started rolling out two AI features for its Gemini Live platform, answering questions based on screenshots or live videos.
It can effectively ‘see’ what’s on a user’s screen or smartphone camera and answer queries in real-time.
The application, known as Astra, was demonstrated last year and is now being released to some Google One AI Premium plan subscribers.
Google has an advantage in the AI virtual assistant market as competitors Amazon and Apple suffer delays to their upgrades while Samsung still has Bixby.
The features could be useful in online shopping, for example, whereas current Google Lens searches require typing relevant terms.
