Flatiron Books says it will keep publishing book from ex-Meta employee

Summary
An ex-staffer of Meta, Sarah Wynn-Williams, released a book in which she details her experience at the company alleging misconduct and harassment, and the publisher, Flatiron Books, based in New York, said it would not be impacted by an arbitration ruling requesting the book no longer be published.
The ruling instructed Wynn-Williams to stop making disparaging remarks about Meta
The publisher’s parent company, Macmillan, has come out in support of the book, stating that although it’s appalled by Meta’s use of a nondisparagement clause in Wynn-Williams’ severance agreement, the book went through a thorough vetting process and they will continue to support and promote it.
This is the latest incident in a long line of battles between Big Tech firms and employees who have sought to publicise their experiences of wrongdoing within them, often resulting in lawsuits taken out by the former against the latter.
