Lenovo’s new concept laptop can be charged by the sun

While Lenovo has no plans to put the laptop into production, it has created an external solar power kit that could potentially provide a backup power source for users of its existing Yoga laptops.
The kit opens like a book to reveal two solar panels and can be attached to a backpack or used as a freestanding unit, connecting to devices via a USB-C cable or charging an incorporated power bank.
Lenovo says the Yoga Solar PC’s panel can convert enough solar energy to power an hour of video playback from just 20 minutes of exposure to direct sunlight.
