Finnish company HMD, which manufactures Nokia phones, has unveiled its Amped wireless earbuds, which feature a charging case that can also provide backup battery life for a phone.
The case uses Qi2 charging and reverse wireless charging to boost a phone’s battery and has a 1,600 mAh battery.
HMD also unveiled a Barca-branded phone and a safety-focused phone developed with kids’ smartwatch maker Xplora at this week’s MWC.
The Amped earbuds will cost €199 ($206) and will be available from April, although it is not yet known if they will be released in the US.
They will come with active noise cancellation and IPX4 and IP54 splash resistance ratings, respectively.
The case and earbuds come in cyan, black and pink, and the Qi2 support means it will connect to MagSafe and Qi2 phones magnetically.
The case can charge the earbuds more than 10 times, giving 95 hours of music playback.
