‘Play Instantly on Discord’: Fortnite will be Nvidia and Discord’s first instant game demo

This can be achieved without the need to purchase the title, download it or create an account, similar to Google Stadia’s vision.
This week at Gamescom, Nvidia is showcasing its vision by allowing players to try fortnite via Discord with a simple click of a button.
This feature is currently just a “technology announcement” rather than an actual feature, with the companies involved hoping that publishers and developers will reach out if they are interested in adding the function to their own games.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time this idea has been floated, with Gaikai (bought by Sony in 2012), Google Stadia and Capcom having also attempted the concept.
The founder of Gaikai suggested that publishers had not supported the fully fledged launch of the service as it “wasn’t necessarily compatible with “the harsh reality of business.
