Summary
Nvidia’s cloud gaming service GeForce Now is to receive a significant upgrade in September, when it will add its latest Blackwell GPUs, effectively introducing an RTX 5080 to its cloud infrastructure with 48GB of memory and DLSS 4.
Subscribers to the Ultimate plan, which costs $20 per month, will be able to stream their games from their PC to other devices such as phones, TVs or Chromebooks at the new higher specification.
Other upgrades to the service include a feature called Install to Play, which gives users the option to download and install games from the Steam platform on their virtual PC.
Users will still need to wait for downloads, but Nvidia is also offering a paid-for option for persistent storage for games that users don’t want to redownload each time they play.
