Social news site Reddit has announced several updates to its comment functionality, including the ability to share comments as posts, a tool to track comment insights such as upvotes and views and the introduction of comment drafts.
The new features are being rolled out on the site’s native apps and web version over the next few weeks.
Reddit has also recently introduced the ability to hide posts and comments on user profiles and a function to assess whether a post meets subreddit rules.
This comes as the company announced the departure of its first chief product officer and confirms its search for a replacement.
