Moto Tag finally gets precise UWB location tracking

Summary
Motorola’s location tracker, Moto Tag, has finally begun offering ultra-wideband (UWB) support, following a delay and a firmware update, making it the first device on Google’s Find Hub network to offer the feature.
The tracker is now superior to Bluetooth, offering distance and directional arrows to guide owners to their lost tags, and requires the Moto Tag app and a recent Android phone with UWB capability, such as recent Galaxy and Pixel flagships.
Samsung’s SmartTags have supported UWB since their launch in 2020, while Apple’s AirTags were the first to launch with the feature in 2021.
Google’s Find My Device network, formerly known as Find Hub, only recently added UWB support, thus causing the delay.
