Pali Bhat, Reddit’s first chief product officer (CPO), appointed in October 2021, is to leave the company in the coming months.
In an internal message, CEO Steve Huffman thanked Bhat for “developing a culture of execution” and added that the company was looking for a new product leader.
In the interim, chief operating officer (COO) Jennifer Wong will oversee user growth, and chief technology officer (CTO) Chris Slowe will oversee engineering.
Huffman will “continue to” drive the company’s product vision.
Bhat’s departure follows Reddit’s continued attempts to expand globally, build an effective ad product and improve its core search functionality.
