Apple has unveiled its iPhone 16E, which has an OLED display, A18 processor, and Apple’s Intelligence features, starting from $599.
It is the cheapest in the iPhone range, but does not have the fastest USB speeds or MagSafe connectivity.
The phone is only available in the US with an eSIM, and uses USB-C rather than Apple’s Lightning charger.
The Action Button can be used for a variety of functions, including song identification through Shazam, and the phone has Apple’s own C1 modem for better battery life.
The camera is 48-megapixel, but does not have macro photography capabilities.
