OpenAI’s ChatGPT service is experiencing problems with its performance, with many users unable to access the site since the morning of June 7 (Eastern Time).
ChatGPT’s status has now been updated to ‘partial outage’ from the previous status of ‘elevated error rates’
It seems the problems are not confined to ChatGPT, as users of Perplexity (an AI search engine service that makes use of OpenAI models) are also experiencing problems.
Both platforms are undergoing investigation by OpenAI to identify the causes and find solutions, but it is not yet known when the platforms will be back online.
