During its annual WWDC event, Apple announced iOS 26 which will introduce a new design known as ‘Liquid Glass’ along with updated apps including Safari, Camera and Music.
The lock screen time can fill more of the screen and the camera will have cleaner controls by hiding some to make it simpler.
Safari will have edge-to-edge webpages and the ability to pin playlists and artists to the top of the Apple Music app.
The new OS will enable live translation and the ability to create a digital ID via Wallet, add voting and the Games app focused on challenging your friends.
This is the second iOS update to include Apple’s AI tool, Apple Intelligence with emphasis on visual intelligence to help utilise search and the calendar with greater ease.
