Microsoft’s LinkedIn chief is now running Office as part of an AI reorg

In an internal memo, Microsoft chief executive Satya Nadella confirmed plans to expand the role of Ryan Roslansky, current CEO of professional social network LinkedIn, to take on an expanded role at the software maker.
Roslansky will now lead the company’s Office, Outlook, and Microsoft 365 Copilot teams in the new role of executive vice president of product.
“This move brings us closer to the original vision we laid out nine years ago with the LinkedIn acquisition: connecting the world’s economic graph with the Microsoft Graph,” Nadella said in the memo.
Additionally, Charles Lamanna and his team will also be moving to report to Rajesh Jha as part of the firm’s AI shakeup.
A second memo from Lamanna announced that Lili Cheng will take on the role of the CTO for the BIC team, while Dan Lewis will become corporate vice president of Copilot Studio.
