In a review on The Verge, senior editor Sean Hollister outlined what he loves about the 8BitDo Ultimate Bluetooth game controller, despite initial reservations about its name and the fact he would not be able to use it with multiple devices.
He says it is the best Bluetooth controller he has used and also one of the top three controllers for use with a Nintendo Switch, making it the best overall.
8BitDo controllers are also now available in a range of pastel colours.
Features of the controller include its own charging dock, remappable controls, drift-free Hall effect sticks and, and Bluetooth/2.4GHz connectivity.
It can also be used with Steam Decks and Windows PCs.
