Bing lets you use OpenAI’s Sora video generator for free

Summary
Microsoft has added a new feature to its Bing mobile app that uses AI to create videos from text prompts and is based on OpenAI’s Sora text-to-video model.
Called Bing Video Creator, the feature is being rolled out to iPhone and Android users globally, excluding China and Russia, and will soon be available on desktop and within Microsoft Copilot.
Users can create up to three videos at a time and choose from two speed options: standard or fast (the latter of which creates videos in seconds but is limited to ten free uses).
Generated videos are five seconds long and in 9:16 vertical format, with 16:9 creation coming at a later date.
Microsoft has released examples of the videos, which while an improvement over earlier Sora demos, still appear a little choppy and cartoony in comparison with rivals such as Google’s Veo 3.
