RFK Jr.’s ‘Make America Healthy Again’ report seems riddled with AI slop

Summary
Robert F Kennedy Junior’s Make American Healthy Again (MAHA) commission has been using incorrect and multiple sources in its reports, according to investigations by The Washington Post and NOTUS.
At least seven of the sources used were fictitious, with wrong issue numbers, broken links and misstated studies also appearing in the report.
Among the discoveries made, several URLs included “oaicite”, a marker from OpenAI indicating the use of AI tools in the report’s compilation, suggesting the use of ChatGPT.
Despite Kennedy’s previous advocacy for the “AI revolution”, the HHS has now updated the report, correcting “minor citation and formatting errors”, according to a statement from HHS spokesman Andrew Nixon.
The statement also reaffirmed that the “substance of the MAHA report remains the same”.
