Tesla’s iPhone app now supports Live Activities for Supercharging

Summary
Tesla’s latest app update for iOS devices enables users to see their vehicle’s Supercharging progress via the phone’s lock screen.
Taking advantage of Apple’s Live Activities feature, the update gives real-time charging updates, including time left, current charge, speed, estimated cost and how much energy has been added.
The Supercharger Live Activities feature is currently only available when using the company’s public Supercharger stations, not home charging or non-Supercharger stalls.
The new feature is available on the Tesla iOS app (version 4.45.0) and was introduced alongside a new ‘Child Left Alone’ function on some models, which alerts owners if they’ve left a child in the car.
This new safety feature is currently only available on some new Model 3 EVs in Europe, but Tesla expects to roll it out to other models and regions ‘later’.
