A portable shower equipped with a rechargeable battery, gas heater and water pump that can provide an hours’ worth of hot water on a single charge, has been tested by The Verge.
The $310 device, from BougeRV, is aimed at campers and includes a dial to adjust the temperature of the water and the flow rate.
Safety features include an automatic shut-off if the unit is knocked over or the water source is empty.
Its only drawbacks were some durability questions and the amount of cabling and hoses, which can be awkward to pack and a potential trip hazard.
