Microsoft is set to focus on artificial intelligence (AI) at its Build event this week, with its AI push including agents that work alongside human colleagues.
It is also expected to reveal plans to host Elon Musk’s Grok AI model on its Azure AI Foundry service.
OpenAI’s Sam Altman may also make an appearance, although the company’s planned launch of its GPT-5 model now seems unlikely.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will begin AI announcements on 19 May, with a day two technical keynote to follow.
Google is hosting its own I/O developer event this week, so the two companies will be competing for attention from developers and consumers.
