GPT-5 has been faulted for making glaring mistakes and for failing to work out what type of AI model is best suited for users’ questions, features that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has conceded and are currently being addressed
However, there is one area in which the model seems to have made progress, in that it is less likely to shower users with inappropriate compliments, compared to previous iterations
