With many of the registry hacks no longer working, Start11 is recommended as a tool to customize Windows 11.
It offers a free trial, and then a one-time fee of $9.99, or a multi-device package, and the trial allows users to try out the features they like before committing to purchase.
The start menu in Windows 11 has undergone a major redesign, and Start11 allows users to reconfigure and customize it according to their preferences, including color, transparency, icon size, and other settings.
Users can also adjust the start button, taskbar positioning, resizing, color, transparency and even add rounded corners or custom textures.
Taskbar pins are perhaps one of the most useful features, allowing for the pinning of documents and folders to the taskbar for easy access.
Control settings in Start11 also allow for customization of the Start button and Windows key, and searches can also be swapped for Start11’s own search feature, which includes extra functionalities.
It is recommended that users back up their Start11 settings in order to restore preferences in case of resetting or reinstalling Windows.
