Summary
AirPlay is now supported natively on Google TV and Android TV; this enables users to mirror content from their iPhone, iPad or Mac directly on their smart TV without using any third-party apps, allowing for seamless cross-device communication
To check if a Google TV or Android TV supports AirPlay, head to Settings and check for AirPlay settings, or check the specifications of the device online; ensure the TV is also updated to the latest software version
Both devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network
Enable AirPlay by going to the Settings app, selecting System, then Apple AirPlay & HomeKit, and ensure AirPlay is set to On
To mirror an iPhone on TV, open the Control Centre, tap the Screen Mirroring button, then select the TV once it appears, and enter the four-digit code that appears on the TV;
