Summary
Private Sharing is a feature on Samsung Galaxy devices that allows users to send files with a timer set on them, allowing the sender to remain in control of the file they are sending.
The recipient is not able to forward, save, copy or screenshot what the sender has sent them, thereby closing all avenues for users to keep a copy of the file.
Files can be sent to any Samsung Galaxy device users, but Private Sharing is not available for non-Samsung devices, thus limiting file sharing to Samsung users.
Private Sharing has a limitation on the number of files that can be shared at once and the size of the file, with a limit of 20 files to be shared at once and a 200 MB file size limit.
This feature is ideal for sending sensitive files such as scans, contracts or personal photos.
