Google Drive Will Now Summarize Changes When Someone Else Edits Your Files
1 min read
Summary
Google Drive users will soon be able to see a summary of the main changes made to a file since it was last accessed via a new tool called Catch me up.
The tool aims to provide a non-time-consuming way to see what has changed in a file, commented on, or edited for Google Workspace users.
It is particularly targeted at those who collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, or presentations and need to catch up with changes quickly.
The artificial intelligence-driven tool will be available on Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, with those who have the Gemini Education or Google One AI Premium add-on.
It will begin rolling out gradually from June this year.
