In April this year, the developer updated the extension to include a feature that took screenshots of pages a user was visiting, a feature which the developer claimed was to assist with AI analysis but which occurred 11 seconds after a page load, regardless of content, and without user consent
This breach of privacy if highly problematic and users are advised to delete this extension immediately and to change all passwords used on sites whilst using FreeVPN.
