Summary

  • As we know, Windows 10’s end-of-life situation is fast approaching, where Microsoft will officially cease support for the OS.
  • This means that beyond the cut-off date, there will be no further updates or security patches, making the OS vulnerable.
  • It is highly recommended that you upgrade to Windows 11, but if you wish to keep using Windows 10, then grabbing its ISO file is a must before it’s taken down from the Microsoft site.
  • This will allow you to at least create a recovery drive to troubleshoot and tackle common Windows 10 issues and ultimately perform a clean install of the OS once you do choose to upgrade to a newer version.
  • You can download the ISO file on any Windows machine (any version) or change the user agent in your browser to download it.
  • You could also use the Media Creation Tool to download the ISO without upgrading your current PC.
