To be eligible for the service, phones must be unlocked, have e-SIM capability, and be satellite optimised.
The service will allow users to switch between their normal carrier and T-Satellite as required, and the satellite service is only activated in areas where there is no normal cellular connectivity.
The service is currently in beta, with a full launch scheduled for July 2025, and users must register for an invite via the T-Satellite website.
T-Mobile hopes to add voice and data services to the platform in future, and the company is offering a T-Life perk to all T-Mobile customers, which offers discounts on various services.
