Spotify has created an AI DJ which creates bespoke music playlists based on the preferences of individual subscribers, and also takes feedback on the playlists played to refine its suggestions
The AI DJ has now been updated to take voice requests for music, either simply from an artist or genre, or with specifications such as “more emotional tunes” or “party music for a date night”
Such voice requests are understood to be in the testing phase and may not be available to all users, or may be rolled out in the future
tips for getting the most out of the AI DJ include liking a song to add it to a Liked Songs playlist, saving it to a different playlist, and following artists to recommend similar artists
Subscribers can also ask the AI DJ to change the music it is playing, or skip songs they don’t like
