ChatGPT has become an increasingly popular tool for many users, and some may find it helpful to set it as their default search engine in their browser to make it quicker to use.
For those using desktop computers, this can be done relatively easily in browsers such as Chrome and Microsoft Edge by searching for, adding, and toggling on the ChatGPT extension in the Chrome Web Store.
Adding ChatGPT as the default search engine in Mozilla Firefox is also possible, but a little more complicated than the above.
On Android, it is not possible to add ChatGPT as a default search engine in Chrome, but it can be done in Firefox by adding it as a search engine and then switching it to default.
In Microsoft Edge for Android, one can add ChatGPT as a homepage, and perform a search there, though it can not be set as a default search engine.
Finally, for Apple iPhone users, it is possible to set ChatGPT as the default search engine in Safari.
This can be done by going into Settings, selecting Safari, Extensions, selecting the ChatGPT search extension, and toggling on the Allow Extension option.
