Pro-Ukrainian hackers take credit for attack that snarls Russian flight travel

Summary
State-owned Russian airline Aeroflot’s IT systems failed, disrupting around 40 flights and leaving passengers stranded.
The airline has blamed the problem on a technical failure, but Russian prosecutors have opened a criminal investigation into a suspected hack.
Russian lawmaker Anton Gorelkin said that Russia appeared to be the target of a digital attack by “hacktivists” with the help of unfriendly states.
Two pro-Ukrainian hacker groups have claimed responsibility and said that they had copied Aeroflot’s entire database, destroyed 7,000 servers, and gained control over employees’ computers.
One of the groups said the damage caused would cost tens of millions of dollars to repair.
