Hyperkin’s DualSense-inspired Xbox controller is finally launching this fall

Gaming hardware manufacturer Hyperkin has announced it will release its Xbox controller modelled on Sony’s DualSense in October, following a three-year development period.
The wired-only $49.99 device, named the Competitor, will initially be offered in black and white in North America, with red, blue and gold also available in Europe and Australia at a later date.
The controller offers features including impulse triggers, a separate D-pad, back buttons with locks and a mic mute button, according to specs revealed at CES in January.
However, it lacks the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
