Summary

  • At its Hardware event on 20 August, Google is expected to launch four new Pixel smartphones (the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold), a new flagship smartwatch (the Pixel Watch 4) and a new pair of earbuds (the Pixel Buds 2A).
  • Three of the smartphones and the smartwatch will apparently be available for purchase from 28 August, but the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and the Pixel Buds 2A will not be available until 9 October.
  • The smartphones have been extensively leaked in the run-up to the event and it is known, for instance, that the Pixel 10 is expected to feature a triple camera setup and the entire range is expected to feature Qi2 magnetic wireless charging.
  • The Pixel Watch 4 is also expected to feature an entirely new charger, which enables it to charge on its side, reportedly meaning both faster charging and a new UI.
