Fujifilm is raising the prices of its cameras again

Summary
Japanese photography company Fujifilm has announced another forthcoming price hike for US customers, following a similar increase implemented two weeks ago for its cameras.
The firm said it will “further adjust prices” on 30 August, due to “volatile market conditions”, but failed to detail which products would be affected or by how much.
It did, however, state that the price of its recently released X-E5 and X Half cameras will not be impacted.
The move comes after US President Donald Trump reached a trade deal with Japan which will impose a 15% tariff on Japan-made products, including cameras.
Fujifilm blamed the situation on the “current market situation” and vowed to work with retailers and consumers to mitigate the difficulties caused by the tariff hike.
