Summary

  • Gaming accessories manufacturer, GuliKit, has launched affordable Nintendo Switch 2 controllers, the ES and ES Pro.
  • The controllers, which cost 29.99 respectively, feature a range of functions to rival the Switch 2 Pro Controller, including anti-drift Hall effect or tunnelling magnetoresistance (TMR) joysticks, and adjustable sensitivity.
  • Both controllers can be used to wake the Switch 2 and feature a wireless range of up to 10m.
  • The ES Pro version also features a mode switch for changing the D-pad between four and eight-direction modes, and the button layout can also be swapped between PC and Switch.
  • While the controllers aren’t compatible with scanning Amiibo figures or with extraBack buttons, the ES and ES Pro are still touted as a cheaper and more functional option than the Switch 2 Pro Controller.
