Summary
Rabbit is showcasing a generalist Android agent that can control a range of tablet apps, including YouTube and a cocktail recipe finder.
Despite the company’s R1 device launching with almost none of the capabilities showcased, it has gradually released updates, such as the ability to train its agents to complete specific tasks.
The examples seen are “only the core action loop an Android agent completes”, according to the company, which plans to share more about its cross-platform, multi-agent system in the future.
Its video shows engineers asking the model to find a YouTube video, locate a whiskey cocktail recipe, add the ingredients to a grocery list and even download the 2048 puzzle game, which it does, albeit slowly and with some quirks.
